A few shots from the weekend testing my new Fujifilm XPro-1 on the streets of Sydney. Great minimalist camera for walking around and keeping things light. It also takes a pretty nice shot.

The Polaroid experiment

Much of my spare time recently has been spent tracking down good quality film (35mm, medium format and Polaroid) cameras from the past and re-learning the finer skills of film. This pic was shot with a 45-year-old Polaroid Land camera. It cost $15 from EBay and required a re-wiring of the battery, and a good clean, before It was up and running. The film is expensive, so every shot is made to count. Here’s one of the first test shots taken with the camera. More to follow….
